Apply for Part-Time HR Executive

We are looking for a Part-Time HR Executive to manage end-to-end HR operations, documentation, statutory compliance, and payroll support for our team. The role is designed for a seasoned HR professional who can deliver structured, reliable HR support on a part-time engagement basis. The ideal candidate will work closely with the management and operations team to ensure seamless HR processes — from documentation and compliance to payroll processing, employee onboarding, and on-site support visits.

Role & Responsibilities

  1. Documentation Management & Labour Compliance
    • Drafting offer letters, appointment letters, and standard HR communication templates
    • Maintaining employee records and personnel files in an organised and audit-ready manner
    • Preparing confirmation letters and employment change documents
    • Managing resignation documentation, exit formalities, and full & final settlement coordination
    • Supporting statutory documentation and filings related to PF, ESI, PT, and LWF

  2. HR Operations & Payroll Support – Through Software
    • Coordinating onboarding and induction processes for new joiners
    • Maintaining employee master database and HR records on HR software
    • Collecting and validating monthly payroll inputs from departments
    • Processing monthly payroll and generating payslips
    • Preparing payroll reports and addressing employee queries

  3. On-Site Employee Support (Weekly 1–2 Visits)
    • Weekly office visit to address employee queries related to salary, payslips, and HR operations
    • Clarifying PF, ESIC, and other statutory deductions for employees
    • Providing general HR operational support on-site as required

  4. Online Induction Sessions
    • Conducting virtual induction sessions for new joiners
    • Explaining company policies, HR processes, payroll structure, and statutory benefits

Preferred
Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 3–6+ years of hands-on experience in HR operations, payroll processing, and labour compliance in an SME or services company environment
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA-HR preferred)
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Handle all HR documentation and statutory compliance independently
    • Process accurate and timely monthly payroll using HR/payroll software
    • Conduct weekly on-site visits (1–2 per week) to address employee HR queries
    • Facilitate smooth onboarding and virtual inductions for new joiners
    • Maintain audit-ready employee records and statutory filing documentation
  • Technical & Professional Skills:
    • Working knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory requirements — PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Gratuity, and Shops & Establishments Act
    • Proficiency in HRMS/payroll software (GreytHR, Keka, Zoho People, or similar)
    • Strong command of MS Excel / Google Sheets for payroll inputs and HR reporting
    • Experience in drafting HR letters, policies, and process documentation
    • Ability to manage full & final settlements and exit formalities end-to-end
  • Preferred:
    • Prior experience working part-time or as a retained HR consultant for SMEs
    • Familiarity with ESI and PF portal filings and challan generation
    • Experience handling HR for a 25–100 employee organisation
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Soft Skills:
    • High degree of confidentiality and professional integrity
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees at all levels
    • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet monthly payroll and compliance deadlines
    • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving HR process gaps
  • Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
    Candidate must be willing to visit the office 1–2 times per week. Remaining work to be carried out remotely.
